Ghost Town

I packed my stuff
And I got out of Angel Town
Traveled far
Till I found myself in
Ghost Town
Thought ‘maybe I could start new?’
Faceless voices said, ‘Think again!’
And as the sun went down
Not even the crows
Made a sound
And as the moon light reigned
That’s when things got stranger
I tried to settle in and ignore this feeling of danger
Wolves began to howl and there were Creatures From Drain!
There’s no rest for the wicked
No sleep for me now
(Boo! To You!
Are you scared?!
Well you should be!
Turn back now!
Beware!
This is frightening!)
I’m a cowboy in this ghost town
And I’m haunted by these ghosts now
Be the hunter or be haunted down
A last stand for my soul now
There’s a ghost in the hall, aberrations in my bed
Black shadows, white eyes, white noise in the air
Ghosts without a shell like floating sheets from my bed
Black circle mouth and eyes, playing music from the bones of the dead!
I ran to the forest, to the trees
I ran from everyone and everything
To a spooky old town full of spooky old people
And a spooky old house, spooky sounds and creaking
Dead heads in this Nobody Town in the Middle of Nowhere, counting down
(Boo! To You!
Are you scared?!
Well you should be!
Turn back now!
Beware!
This is frightening!)
I’m a cowboy in this ghost town
And I’m haunted by these ghosts now
Be the hunter or be haunted down
A last stand for my soul now
Indian outlaw, wanted, dead or alive
Magic dancer, casting spells and now you’re mine
Devils in this Heartbreak Hotel
And I don’t know if I’m gonna survive
Ooooh, ooh, oh
Ooooh, ooh, oh
Ooooh, ooh, oaaah, ooh
Ooooh
(Boo! To You!
Are you scared?!
Well you should be!
Turn back now!
Beware!
This is frightening!)
I’m a cowboy in this ghost town
And I’m haunted by these ghosts now
Be the hunter or be haunted down
A last stand for my soul now

Saenz Los Angeles, California
I started making art when I was 10 after winning a drawing contest for the LA Times. Through the many hard years that
followed I would rely on drawing to escape reality and into the 'clouds' of my hopes and dreams.
I discovered poetry at 14 and lyricism at 15 then began experimenting with music creation at 16 and sharing them with other kids at school before releasing the Saenz debut LP at 21.
